If Heaven's Kingdom lies within a man,
then 'I' is God. This stylus of the mind,
immaculate, was there when breath began,
and quits the rigid bones death leaves behind.
Non-personal, the 'I am' is the Way,
the Truth and Light. All men may make this claim
and still be right. We are the soul we say,
and call to all the Earth our native name.
No cloud-walled home comprises God's abode,
nor angels strum their harps from outer space.
Not less than full devotion to the road
of Self's redemptive search unveils our Grace.
This 'spark divine' from scripture does portend,
"I am with you unto this dark world's end."
