As a boy, I reckoned God to be.
an old man in the corner of the sky.
As time enlightened me, I learned to see
that fixed and rigid rules do not apply
when fathoming eternity and grace.
The utmost open-mind must take control
to apprehend and spiritually embrace
celestial interactions of the soul.
That God is not a person, lord or king
nor government, nor church of any kind,
a new mode of cognition men must bring,
combining both divine and skeptic mind.
Neanderthals could not have been more dense,
than modern men contemplating layers
of a cosmos infinitely immense,
impervious to their most fervent prayers.
